It has been a while since I have updated my progress of my immigration plans.
1. I just couldn't get full score for my english language tests (IELTS and PTE). Thus I am always lingering around 55 points (5 points short in order to apply EOI for Australia).
2. Next, I went to check out Australia's closest neighbour which is New Zealand. They have increased their requirements from 140 to 160 points since Oct 2016. I am just 15 points short of their requirements and therefore not able to apply although there is another alternative which is to have my spouse take up a Post-Graduate course so that she can sponsor me a visa for the same period that she is studying. This means that we had to fork out over NZ$24,000 for just the school fees alone. Although this seems like a feasible choice, we were reluctant to spend the money to get a certification which probably has not much use in future.
3. Many people we have spoken to did suggested another popular country to migrate and that is Canada. This country was not in our plans all along and I went to do some research and found info which seems to attract us.
And so it begins another immigration journey that might just come true...
I will continue the timeline and requirements for Canadian Immigration in a separate post..
