Migrating to Canada from Singapore Part 2

August 23, 2018

Finally my spouse has received her IELTS results. The education credential assessment is still pending as somehow the $#@%&!* institute did not include the dates of her certificate. How dumb can they get? Isn't it common sense? So I was given a few options to send over some documents to them and i choose the fastest way which was for me to mail her certificate with dates for their reference. Not going to spend $60 to speedpost it there, so going by registered normal mail will probably take 9 - 15 working days according to the staff at Singpost. Website states 6 - 9 days leh....

Anyway, i have received my credential assessment results on 21st Aug 2018 and I immediately submitted my express entry. They have accepted it and my name is now officially in the Express Entry Pool. I could still have the option to update my spouse's credential assessment any time since the system allows us to update the profile at any time whenever there is an update to my status.

Currently my points for Express Entry as below according to this CRS tool.
